| The Gift and Challenges of Being Separate: A Spiritual Podcast |
|
|
Enlightenment Online is pleased to be featuring recordings of teleclasses recently held by Jinen Brenda Blessings, Dean of Teachers at A Society of Souls.
This is a wonderful opportunity to experience some of the core aspects of Nondual Healing and Awakening, created by Jason Shulman.
Being born automatically means we have this sense of separateness, the sense of being personal only, an independently existing ego self. This separateness is wonderful and amazing in many ways, including the unique beauty of each individual being. This separateness is also the root of our difficulties and causes us to feel separate from life, life does things to us, life moves in unpredictable ways that we don't like, life will come to an end, etc. Here's the surprise: When we learn to accept our limited, finite, separate self, God is revealed to us, as having always been here.

Enlightenment Online is pleased to be featuring the second of three teleclass recently held by Jinen Brenda Blessings, Dean of Teachers at A Society of Souls . This is a wonderful opportunity to experience some of the core aspects of Nondual Healing and Awakening, created by Jason Shulman..
Having an open heart does not mean being happy in every moment nor does it mean being spiritual. It means having an open attitude towards ourselves and our limitations and imperfections. It means being willing to give yourself a chance through accepting all of who you are with kindness instead of constantly battling yourself.

| The Mystery of How to be with God: A Spiritual Podcast |

Being with God is a nondual state. As long as we insist that being with God is dependent upon having certain conditions or by choosing only one aspect of reality over another, we can never really know what it is like to be with God - in every moment. The great mystery is that we can only gain freedom by allowing something that is limiting us to fully exist here and now.

| Forever a Beginner |
|
| The concept of “beginner’s mind” has been around for a while, most notably through Shunryu Suzuki’s wonderful book “Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind,” which I heartedly recommend to one and all. But what is beginner’s mind? Over the years, it has gathered the moss of “spontaneity,” that is, some people think we have to be like children, reacting to the world as if we’ve never been there before, open-eyed with wonder. But we have been here, so a new question arises. How does experience and beginner’s mind interact and coincide? That is what this excerpt speaks to. It was spoken to my European students in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. |

| Initimacy with the Whole Self |
|
| This excerpt comes from a lecture I gave to Nondual Healing students at A Society of Souls last year. Though I talk about “healers” and “IKH Healing (Integrated Kabbalistic Healing),” what I am talking about is fundamental to any spiritual path. True Intimacy—which includes and transcends personal intimacy—is our starting and ending point. |

| Hidden Assumptions, Part 1 |
|
| This short talk was given to a group of first healing students at our school, A Society of Souls. This is the first part. Although I was speaking to students studying Nondual Healing (some of which is based on Kabbalistic thought), the basic topic I am exploring is important for anyone following a spiritual path. |
